How to Vote
Individuals who are registered to vote at their current Kearney resident will receive a ballot in the mail. You must be registered at your current address and live in the city limits of Kearney. Ballots will be sent out to households around November 23rd or shortly after.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VOTE:
Your ballot must arrive at the Election Office no later than 5:00pm on December 14th. NO EXCEPTIONS.
SUBMIT BY MAIL: place $0.58 worth of postage on the envelope and mail it back to the Election Commissioner’s Office. It is recommended by the USPS that voters mail their ballots at least 1 week prior to the return deadline of December 14th.
DROPBOX: There is a silver drop box located in the horseshoe parking lot on the west side of the courthouse off of 1st Ave. No postage is required for this delivery method.
IN PERSON: You can bring the ballot into the Election Office Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
